Churchboy Confessions
Hosted by Emmanuel Iheke Jr, “Churchboy Confessions” engages young adults with a series of monologues and conversations communicating God’s Word with the utmost vulnerability. For many, the churchboy/churchgirl archetype represents someone who has it all together. But the reality is that we’ve all sinned and fallen short, and we don’t get better by avoiding conviction and hard conversations. Instead, we have to have them. Join Emmanuel and the UN-ASSOCIATED family to discuss the real struggles and challenges that accompany the faith walk and how Jesus is the answer to them all. New episodes on Mondays.

Monday Feb 27, 2023
Monday Feb 27, 2023
Envy stems from unholy comparison, and unholy comparison stems from pride. This episode, I cover one of the ways our pride can materialize into comparison and envy, and the negative effect that has on us and the people around us.

"I was more addicted to pride than I ever was sexual sin."
I pray this episode really makes you sit and wrestle with the pride that might be running free in your life. On another note, thank you all for your patience and support. God is so good, and I'm excited to continue to teach and grow together.

God's been working on me, and He continues to. I am not perfect, and God isn't shy to let me know that. In this episode, I open up about the sin currently in my life and how God is working in me. I'll also touch on the proper way to perceive His chastisement. This is the last episode I'll record for a while, as I'll be taking a break from Churchboy Confessions for a season. I'll still be around so hit me/us on ig for any questions or advice you need! (@un_associated or @iheke_)

Lazy Busy
Monday Oct 31, 2022
Monday Oct 31, 2022
Can you be lazy and busy at the same time? A week ago I thought that was impossible. After reading this desiringgod.com article, I have a lot that I want to discuss on the topic of laziness. I pray this episode encourages all of those struggling with the sin of slothfulness. Remain faithful to what God has put in front of you.

3 Reasons You Should Go to Church
Monday Oct 24, 2022
Monday Oct 24, 2022
I hate to see my generation normalize our absence in the church, and it's time to speak on it. I genuinely hope this episode convinces you to go back to church if you stopped.

Does Jesus Work On Mental Health?
Monday Oct 17, 2022
Monday Oct 17, 2022
Most of the conversations I hear around the church and mental health aren't good. People struggling don't want to "find Jesus" and "pray more" when they open up about their struggles with mental health. A lot of people think Jesus doesn't even belong in the conversation. I wanna talk about all of it. Got questions or just want to talk, DM us on instagram @un_associated.

I Hate Myself When I Make Mistakes (Bonus)
Monday Oct 10, 2022
Monday Oct 10, 2022
Bonus episode: If you're anything like me, after you make a mistake your mind is full of self-deprecating thoughts and you find it hard to get back up because of the shame. Many of us have formed a habit of condemning ourselves for our mistakes, even though God does not. What do we have to realize for us to finally be more forgiving of ourselves and get back up stronger than ever?

Pray for Christian Leaders
Monday Oct 03, 2022
Monday Oct 03, 2022
How often do you pray for your pastor, spiritual mentor, or favorite gospel artist? It's time we as Believers stop focusing on only "getting" but also incorporate "giving" into our walk. Those in leadership often get treated like the "strong friend" - we ask them for advice but never ask them how they are doing. Satan tempts them too, and they need our support. No one is infallible. We need each other.

Self-Denial & Self-Discovery
Monday Sep 26, 2022
Monday Sep 26, 2022
Last week we talked about how our obsession with overcoming our insecurities can lead us to sin. This week, we're going to expand on things and talk about how self-denial is the pathway to self-discovery, confidence, and a number of other blessings that come as a packaged deal with following Christ. I pray this episode can help free all from their battles with insecurities. Let Christ be your focus.

The Criteria (Remastered)
Monday Sep 19, 2022
Monday Sep 19, 2022
I recorded this episode in Sept, 2019. Many of us deal with insecurities, but don't realize that oftentimes the enemy uses these insecurities to provoke us to sin. Never let "conquering your insecurities" lead you away from God. I'll probably expand on this topic in the near future. Hope this can help set someone free.
