Churchboy Confessions
Hosted by Emmanuel Iheke Jr, “Churchboy Confessions” engages young adults with a series of monologues and conversations communicating God’s Word with the utmost vulnerability. For many, the churchboy/churchgirl archetype represents someone who has it all together. But the reality is that we’ve all sinned and fallen short, and we don’t get better by avoiding conviction and hard conversations. Instead, we have to have them. Join Emmanuel and the UN-ASSOCIATED family to discuss the real struggles and challenges that accompany the faith walk and how Jesus is the answer to them all. New episodes on Mondays.

Overcoming the Shame of Your Past
Monday Sep 11, 2023
Monday Sep 11, 2023
The Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That means we've all done things we are not proud of, and sometimes that makes a gag at the thought of who we once were. What's worst, is that some of us have to deal with people that look down on us because of our past, making it even harder to overcome the shame. Let's talk about it.

Jesus Made It Hard to Fit In - Guest: Danielle Clayton
Monday Sep 04, 2023
Monday Sep 04, 2023
Many of us have experienced not being able to fit in at some point in our lives because of our faith. In these times, we might start to view our sanctification as something discomforting and negative. However, if we shift our mindset to focus on biblical truths, we can learn how important it is to walk in our Christian identity despite the discomfort.

Has God Ever Let You Down?
Monday Aug 21, 2023
Monday Aug 21, 2023
We've all experienced praying hard for something, but not getting it. Better yet, many if not all of us have experienced suffering that made us question God's character. We probably felt like God let us down. Nevertheless, we still choose to follow Him. Why?

Rediscovering: I Forgot About Grace
Monday Aug 14, 2023
Monday Aug 14, 2023
After talking about God's redemptive power to redeem us after our sins and mistakes last week, I thought it would be great to revisit the topic of grace. About 2 years ago I published this episode about the grace of God, and it's time the conversation be brought back to the forefront.

Did I Mess Up God’s Plan for My LIfe?
Monday Aug 07, 2023
Monday Aug 07, 2023
Is God’s will for your life now messed up because you fell short or made a mistake? This is a question some of us have probably asked ourselves, and the fear of it being the case keeps us up at night. Did we blow it? Are our sins and mistakes redeemable?

Being a Control Freak is Stressful
Monday Jul 31, 2023
Monday Jul 31, 2023
As a control freak, I have grown accustom to living a life filled with frustration and anxiety when life doesn't go as planned. Control freaks often make idols of efficiency and comfort, however, these oftentimes are not God's focus when working our His purpose. Let's unpack.

”That All of Them May Be One...”
Sunday May 28, 2023
Sunday May 28, 2023
In John 17, Jesus prayed to the Father, requesting He help all Christians to be one as They are one. The Church is meant to be united in love and truth, and be a testament of the gospel to the world. However, many of the issues we bear inside our communities hinder this from happening. It's time we search our own hearts.

Imposter Syndrome in the Church
Monday May 22, 2023

Church is supposed to be a safe space, so why do many of us feel like we don't belong? When imposter syndrome kicks in, what are some things we can remind ourselves of that help us know we belong.

Do You Envy The Lives of Unbelievers?
Monday May 15, 2023
Monday May 15, 2023
The Christian walk is not easy. It is filled with spiritual warfare, trials and tribulations, and sacrifices. If you are anything like me, you've sometimes found yourself growing envious of unbelievers who don't deal with the convictions and sacrifices you deal with on a daily basis. How should we feel about this?
Note: Sorry, no YouTube video today because of some technical difficulties I've been dealing with :/
