When we realize that, we are able to focus less on ourselves (insecurities, fears, doubts), and just know that God will use us according to His will for the sake of helping the people He loves.

I have mistakenly lived a life of seeking affirmation from other people in order to believe I was special. I didn't feel special until other people treated me like I was special. That is no way to live, as compliments are just as inconsistent as people are. The only person you need to treat you like who you are in order to be you, is you.

When we serve God we don't have to know "how", we just need to make sure we are obedient and serving as He wishes.

Sometimes, amidst being 100% goal-oriented, we become too fixated on an action plan - then loose sight of the actual reason behind us accomplishing said goal. Ultimately, each of us have a purpose to serve God and other people, and when we get distracted from service, we lose all authenticity when approaching a task. Remember - service is everything.

There is a difference between "guilt" and the Christian definition of "conviction". The latter means to be remorseful and know wrong - while the other is a device used by the enemy to make you think you are too unworthy to have a relationship with God.
